Drawings of home plans that are easy to build out of Masonry, Block, Brick or stone. As this page progresses I will show plans and the materials needed to build them. Masonry construction is the fastest way to build providing you have an adequate crew. The inside can be finished out with drywall, plaster, brick, wood, etc. depending on the room. Reinforced it will withstand the trails of time and weather better than any conventional construction.
These floor plans are suited to the modular measurements of masonry units, They are rectangulars and optimize space conservation while giving maximum storage and utility. The first one is a cottage type design with an upper level loft area, 1/2 bath and bedroom.
A Cottage lay out
First Floor, note that the center hall allows easy access to every area.
Upper Level with loft, 1/2 bath and bedroom.
The plan above is 1782 Sq. ft. w/ 1-1/2 bath on the upper level, it is so far my most modest and practical design.
The Cabin floor Plan
One Bedroom w/ optional loft, large kitchen; the most important room, entry area for transition and utility/tool room. This design is only 1065 Sq. Ft. a 26'8"x 40' rectangular home and it is an easy design to build.
